We've just added the following clips to the Extreme Sports part of our collection!

Gravity Car World Record (2008)
-A group of gravity racers entered the world record books after reaching 62 mph in their Nimbus gravity car on the fast newly resurfaced road at Beach Head, Eastbourne, UK.

European Highland Games - Heavy Event Championship (2008)
-With a number of events it is a grueling competition which draws the crowd's attention, holding a very important position in the Highland Games program with such events as "Tossing the Caber", "Putting the Stone", "Throwing the 28 lb Weight" and "Pitching the Sheaf."

UK Lifesaving Speed Championships (2009)
-The sport of lifesaving is the only known sport in the world where participants first learn the skills for a humanitarian purpose and only later use them in competition.

Tough Guy Race (2009)
-It's billed as one of the toughest races on earth and when you see the course you'll know why. One of the few rules of the event is that everyone taking part must sign their own death warrant!

UK Cold Water Championships (2009)
-This event is open to all levels of swimmers and features solo races based on age groups ranging 'under 19' through 80 years. Alongside the usual swimming styles such as front crawl and breast stroke, swimmers could also take part in the historic Old English Backstroke races. Races took place in temperatures around 4 degrees Celsius, or 39 degrees Fahrenheit.
