Here's a quick update on a few clips that we've recently added to our surveillance and police dashboard camera portion of our library.
*Judge Defender, Hero!
Courtroom CCTV footage shows a judge leaping over the judges bench to aid a woman who was testifying against a man who was in court facing domestic violence charges.
*Eye in the Sky Squad Chases, Nails Tagger Team!
State patrol catches graffiti taggers in the act using infrared (FLIR) cameras.
*Juvie Chase and Crash Into Pole!
Police dashcam footage shows a 14-year-old suspect that led officers on a chase. Officers said the teen lost control and hit a pole at an intersection. The teen faces charges of auto theft and failure to comply.
*Clubbing Met With Cops Bullets!
This video is graphic. The police dashcam demonstrates just how dangerous a police officers job can be. An officer was brutally attacked by a suspect with a golf and had no choice to defend himself by using his gun. The deputy was cleared as officials determined that the officer didn't break the law when he pulled his gun and fired it.
*Trucker Puts Brakes on Heart Attack Driver!
A woman had a heart attack while driving on the highway, but a quick thinking truck driver, who knew he needed to sop her car may have saved her life and others. Police dashcam video show the giant truck pulling ahead of the woman and slowing down just enough to let the car crash into at a slow speed.
*Cop Makes Smashing Rescue!
Police dashcam video shows officer rescuing a man from his smoldering car moments before it bursts into flames and exploded.
*Who's the Real Cop?
State Patrol officer questions a second "officer" and eventually arrests him for impersonating an officer as well as making a non-emergency stop on the freeway. The suspect reportedly stated that he knew the State Patrol officers were busy and was only out to help. Event was caught on police dascham.
*Desperado Dies in a Hail of Bullets!
Police dashcam video of high speed chase of robbery / carjack suspect and is killed in a barrage of gunfire after the suspect hits a tree.
*Biting Teen Robber!
Surveillance video shows a teenager attempting to rob a convenience store but after a brawl with an employee, he is chased away. As the teen fought back he did end up biting the employee in the arm. The suspect was eventually arrested.
*Plain Clothes Security Guard Guns Down Robber!
Surveillance video catches a would-be robber getting shot by a security guard as the store owner was opening up his shop.
*Senior Pharmacist Smack Down!
Surveillance video shows employees of pharmacy giving this robber a run for his money. A pharmacist took matters into his own hands and fired several shots at the robber when he realized that he was being robbed. The robber took off running.
